We want your charter experience on board Kerkyra to be the best possible, and have provisioned her well for comfort, performance and safety. In addition to the standard inventory, Kerkyra's crew will find extra gear that doesn't normally come with a charter boat. For example: 4 inflatable life jackets, free Sirius satellite radio service and a 5-man inflatable dinghy with 15 horsepower outboard. For a list of the options and accessories on Kerkyra, visit our Options page.
The Hanse 400e combines excellent sailing performance with all the comforts of a cruiser. She points very well and is also fast downwind, yet tacking can be a one-hand operation and the electric winch makes trimming a breeze.
With her tall rig, Kerkyra has plenty of power under just her main and self-tacking jib, but in light winds changing over to the 140% genoa results in a huge sail-area-to-displacement ratio of 27.1. For downwind sailing or light air reaches Kerkyra has a 180% cruising spinnaker with snuffer.
Below decks the ample freeboard, plumb stem and wide aft section create a lot of interior space for 3 staterooms, 2 heads and a roomy saloon.
